Description
This is a disused limekiln located 30 metres south of God's Bridge Cottage, which is marked as Rock Bridge Cottages on the Ordnance Survey map. The limekiln dates from the early 19th century and is constructed from squared rubble.
It features a large single kiln with a battered front and returns, which is partly built into the bankside. The kiln has a segmental-arched opening that slopes into a semi-domical back wall. There are two pots at ground level, each with small segmental-arched heads. The top of the structure is in a ruinous condition.
