Description
The wall enclosing the yard east of the former saddle house is a Grade II listed structure, likely built in the late 18th century for the London Lead Company. Constructed from dry sandstone rubble, the wall stands approximately 1.5 metres high and features an oblique stone coping. It creates a yard that measures around 10 metres square, which was used for holding pack-horses. There is an opening on the west side, directly opposite the saddle house.
