Farmhouse with outbuildings and pump attached. Early C18 with early C19 extension and pump dated 1822. Main house coursed squared sandstone, addition sandstone rubble, with plinth, quoins and ashlar dressings; stone-flagged roofs with gable copings and ashlar and brick chimneys. Pump painted metal encased in wood. Main house 3 storeys, 2 wide bays; 2-storey, 2-bay left extension to almost the same height.
Main building has 20-pane sashes on first 2 floors and 6-pane fixed lights on second floor in almost square plain stone rebated surrounds, with holes for 5 vertical bars. Left extension has pecked flat stone lintels, to renewed glazed door and 3-pane overlight at right, and projecting stone sills to sashes with fine glazing bars.
Main roof has moulded kneelers, and banded end chimneys on plinths, the left with brick patching; lower second-build roof has left end banded ashlar chimney. Rear full-width 2-storey outshut to earlier house has blocked flat-mullioned windows; wide horizontal sliding sashes on ground floor, and late C19 sashes above. C19 extension has full-width one-storey outshut and gabled porch with door in inner return.
