Description
This bridge, located on the north drive to the former Streatlam Castle, was likely built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features a high round-headed arch with keyed voussoirs. At road-bed level, there is a parapet band, and the parapets along with the quadrant approach walls have moulded sides that lead to a flat-topped coping. Each parapet is interrupted and terminated by eight piers or pilasters that display chamfered rustication, with cornices that continue the moulding of the parapet and low pyramid coping.
