Description
The Dutch barn at Streatlam Home Farm dates from the mid-19th century. It is constructed from roughly coursed and squared sandstone, featuring quoins and dressings of ashlar and yellow brick. The roof is made of Welsh slate and has stone gable copings. The barn has one high storey and consists of six bays. There are four high semicircular-headed openings with alternate-block jambs and brick arches, along with four rows of three circular ventilation pipes located in the blank end bays. The roof is topped with plain gable copings and has three louvred ridge ventilators. On the right return, there is a boarded pitching door situated in the gable peak.
