Description
This structure is a bridge and conduit arch, likely built in the early 19th century for the London Lead Company. It is made of coursed rubble and features a low segmental arch over Ashgill Beck, which has rough voussoirs and later concrete coping at ground level on the south face. At a right angle to the south face, at the east end, there is a similar arch that includes a battered south buttress and a return, with rubble coping on the return. A continuous grass track runs at ground level over the arches.
