Description
The caretaker's house of the former Leazes Board School was built in 1893. It is constructed from snecked sandstone and features a plinth, quoins, and ashlar dressings, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building is designed in an L-plan and has two storeys with three bays, the right bay projecting under a shaped gable. The central entrance consists of a partly-glazed six-panel door, while the ground floor has paired sash windows and single sash windows above, all of which are adorned with flat stone lintels and projecting stone sills. The roof includes a coped chimney on the left end. This building is included for its group value with the surrounding structures.
