Description
East Greystone Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid-19th century, with a likely late 18th-century wing attached to the left rear. The rear wing is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a pantiled roof with a rebuilt brick stack. The main farmhouse is built from dressed sandstone and has a Welsh slate roof with ashlar stacks.
The two-storey, one-bay rear wing has roughly-dressed quoins and a 20th-century French window, with a 16-pane sash above it. The moderately-pitched roof has a gable stack on the left side.
The two-storey, three-bay farmhouse showcases tooled and margined quoins, as well as window and door surrounds. It has a central four-panel door with a margined overlight, set beneath an open triangular hood supported by brackets. There are five 16-pane sash windows with raised sills. The moderately-pitched roof features coped gables with shaped kneelers and two corniced end stacks supported by a row of three corbels.
Additions to the left and farm buildings to the rear are not of special interest.
