Description
This grave cover, located 1.5 metres east of the Church of St. John the Evangelist, is a double slab dating from the late 12th century or early 13th century. It is made of sandstone ashlar and measures approximately one metre long and 0.5 metre wide. The slab is tapered, with a top that is chamfered and grooved to create a paired tapered shape. Each slab features a faint incised cross, with the head of the cross carved in relief.
