Description
These are farm buildings located approximately 200 metres north-west of Green Field Farm, likely dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed of sandstone rubble with quoins, ashlar, and brick dressings, topped with a pantiled roof. The complex consists of a barn, a shelter shed, and a cowhouse arranged around three sides of a yard that is open to the south, with a gin gang attached to the barn on the west.
The barn is two storeys high and has three bays, while the other ranges are single-storey, featuring five bays on the north side and three on the east side. The barn includes a flat stone lintel above an empty door on the side facing the yard, as well as similar lintels and flush sills above blocked openings. There are two rows of vent slits in the south gable, which have triangular coping blocks. The boarded doors in the square gin gang to the west are topped with a hipped roof.
The north shelter shed features four elliptical brick arches supported by rubble piers, with alternate openings blocked and the west bay left blank. There is a single door near the centre of the east range. The interior has not been inspected.
