Description
The gate piers and gates located south-east of Hamsterley Hall serve as the entrance to a path leading from the garden to the estate. The gate piers date from the 18th century, while the gates are from the 19th century. The piers are made of sandstone ashlar and feature channelled rustication, cornices, and ball finials on top. The wrought iron gates include a central band adorned with attached rosettes and a top band decorated with palmettes.
