Description
The cupola, now serving as a summer-house, dates back to the 17th century and was relocated around 1925 from Beaudesert, Staffordshire. It is constructed from coursed squared sandstone with ashlar dressings and has an octagonal shape, standing at one storey. The south side features a moulded surround to an empty door, while the north and south sides have leaded windows with much old glass, set in chamfered surrounds with recessed concave moulding. The high entablature displays paterae over alternate sides, topped by a high stone onion dome with a ball and statue finial.
