Description
Mill House is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the 18th century, with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is built of sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and quoins, topped with a concrete-tiled roof.
The building has two storeys and three bays. The central entrance features a four-panel door with a three-pane overlight above it. The ground floor has three-light casement windows, while the first floor has two-light casement windows, all with glazing bars and bullion glass. Each opening is set under label moulds and has projecting stone sills. Above the door, there is a trefoil window in a plain stone surround. The eaves have been raised by one course, and there is a curved kneeler at the front of the right gable. The roof is finished with two chimneys that have ashlar cornices at each end.
