Description

The Collins Tomb is a table tomb located approximately 4 metres south of the Church of St. Mary and St. Stephen in Wolsingham. It commemorates Tristram Collins, a surgeon who died in 1782 at the age of 68. The tomb features a moulded sandstone slab supported by two round pedestals that have shallow fluting, with diagonally-placed bases and capitals. The tomb also includes names of other members of the Collins family who died between 1751 and 1814.
