Description
The Turk's Head Public House is a house that has been converted into an inn, dating from the late 18th century with some alterations made in the 19th century. It features painted stucco with a painted plinth and ashlar dressings, and has a stone slate roof with stone gable copings and a chimney. The building stands three storeys high and has a two-window range across three irregular bays.
There is a tooled stone surround to a six-panel door with an overlight located on the right side. At the center, two canted bay windows are positioned closely together, featuring round-headed sashes and wooden mullions. The first floor has two windows with similar sashes, which are framed by shaped corniced surrounds, while the left bay is blind. The second floor has three smaller sashes of a similar style, each with plain stone surrounds. The roof is topped with left gable coping on a moulded kneeler and has a coped chimney at the left end. The interior has not been inspected.
