Description

This bridge, located approximately 300 metres south-east of Witton Castle, dates from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed from irregular courses of squared sandstone with ashlar dressings and features ashlar piers. The bridge has a low segmental arch and two large circular flood holes situated below a band of flat-coped parapet.
