Description
The Bridge Inn is an inn built in the early 19th century, with a later addition from the 19th century. It features roughly-dressed sandstone with dressed quoins, while the addition is made of finely-dressed sandstone. The roof is covered with sandstone flags and has ashlar stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-bay layout, with a single-bay addition on the left. The entrance includes a 20th-century boarded door set in a raised surround, and there are four 12-pane sash windows with flush lintels and projecting sills. The addition has two 4-pane sash windows with tooled-and-margined lintels and projecting sills. The roof has slightly-projecting eaves and flat-coped gables with shaped kneelers, along with two corniced gable stacks and one similar ridge stack. An attached building on the left is not of special interest.
