Description

There are four stone urns on pedestals located 50 metres west of Biddick Hall. These urns are probably from the early 18th century and are set on later stone pedestals. The urns are regularly spaced across the west end of a walled garden.

The square-plan pedestals feature cyma-moulded plinths, sunk panels on each face, and corniced tops. The urns themselves are adorned with boldly-carved festoons of fruit and foliage, as well as rams' heads, which are the insignia of the Lambton family.
