Description

No. 76 Saddler Street is a late 18th-century house that has been converted into a shop. It features incised stucco with painted ashlar dressings and a Welsh slate roof. The building stands four storeys high and consists of one bay. The ground floor has been altered, while the upper floors showcase late 19th-century sash windows set in wide architraves with painted projecting stone sills. The large quoins have raised centres, and there is a second-floor band with iron retaining plates, a third-floor band, and a dentilled gutter cornice. This building is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
