Description

No. 12 Church Street is a house dating from the late 17th century. It is built of English garden wall bond brick with painted ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof with a new brick chimney. The house has two storeys and two bays. On the right side, there is a six-panel door set in a wide architrave, which is topped by a pulvinated frieze and cornice. To the left, there are tripartite sash windows, and a small sash window above the door, all of which have header course lintels. A sill band runs along the first floor, and the steeply-pitched roof has slightly-swept eaves.
