Description
Two houses, built in the late 18th century. The houses are constructed with Flemish bond brick, featuring a painted ashlar plinth and decorative ashlar dressings. They have a Welsh slate roof with stone gable copings. The houses are three storeys high, with five bays each.
Number 29, on the left, has three steps leading up to a 7-panel door in a recessed panelled surround. In the third bay, there is a pedimented Tuscan doorcase framing a partly-glazed 6-panel double door and overlight. Number 30 has steps leading to a recessed 6-panel door with beaded panels and an overlight, all set within an architrave.
The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. Brick arches support the windows on the ground and first floors, while flat stone lintels sit above the second-floor windows, all running along an eaves band. Sill and floor level bands are also present. The right-hand chimney is topped with square yellow pots.
