Description

This building at 1 Bank Street is a shop with living accommodation above, attached to buildings on both sides. The walls are roughcast rendered, and it features a deep moulded eaves cornice and a pyramidal pantile roof. The structure is two storeys high, with a single window range consisting of a 4/4-pane sash in an exposed frame on the top floor and an 8/8-pane sash on the first floor. The ground floor has a projecting shopfront bay with billet moulding on the fascia and supporting brackets. The shop extends over three storeys, with rafters visible in the upper storey.
