Description

The cross in St Wonnow's churchyard is made of sandstone and features a square plan. It has two broad steps of flagstones leading up to a monolithic base with broach-stop corners. The tall octagonal shaft is topped with a collar and a Gothic-style cross. On the west side of the base, there is a bronze plaque indicating that it was restored in memory of Sir William, the 8th Baronet of Chevet, and his wife, Dame Mary Milborne Swinnerton-Pilkington.
