Description

The former coach house at Bettws Lodge dates from the early to mid 19th century and is likely built around the same time as the main house. It features a rubble construction topped with a tall hipped slate roof. The west-facing front has broad boarded gates and a small boarded loft door situated above. To the left, a rubble wall extends to the entry from the lane. On the right side, there is a low rubble chimney stack that sits over a brick-lined oven. The elevation facing the lane has a loft opening in the center, with blocked doorways below. At the rear, there is a lean-to structure.
