Description

The stable at Ty-gwyn is an early 19th century lofted stable range. It is constructed of white-washed limestone rubble and has a roof made of corrugated metal sheeting. This small two-storey building likely served a combined purpose. The stable features a door and a window, with a hay-loft above that includes a taking-in door at the south end. At the north end, there is a small cow-house with a small attached covered yard. The interior was not available for inspection during the resurvey in October 1996.
