Description
4 The Bungalows is a row of four single-storey cottages built from painted rubble stone with concrete tile roofs that mimic the appearance of stone tiles. These double-fronted, double-depth cottages feature paired bathroom extensions that were added in the 20th century. The front of each cottage has eight over eight sash windows set in elliptical heads, flanking a doorway that contains a partially glazed 20th-century door with a small elliptically headed light above. The cottages have paired rendered chimney stacks, and No. 4 includes an additional 20th-century stove stack on the front slope. At the rear, each cottage has two more eight over eight sash windows and a paired gabled bathroom extension. The interiors were not inspected during the last survey in January 1997.
