Description

The tomb of Margaret Davies is located in St. Cadoc's Churchyard. It is a chest tomb made of limestone, dedicated to Margaret, the wife of William Davies, who died in 1814, as well as other members of the Davies family. The tomb features a chest that rests on a low moulded base and tapers upwards to an overhanging capstone. The inscriptions on the tomb are well lettered and are displayed on panels that project at a different plane from the main taper of the chest sides.
