Description
The Pengam and Fleur de Lis war memorial is a freestone cenotaph-type structure inspired by Lutyens' cenotaph in Whitehall, London. It features a tapering pylon set on a stepped plinth, with rebated angles and polished granite inscription panels that commemorate the First World War (1914-1918) and the Second World War (1939-1945). Above a moulded cornice, there is a tapering cap that matches the style of the pylon below.
