Description

The Pontygwaith Rail Overbridge is a road overbridge that spans a railway and is located next to a tramroad bridge to the west. It features steel beams and parapets supported by rusticated sandstone abutments, with buttressed projecting piers and curving flanking walls. The structure has rounded capping, a strong course, and a deck level. To the south, there is a rubble stone wall that extends down to the tramroad bridge.
