Description
White Bridge, also known as Berw Bridge, is a reinforced concrete bridge featuring a single arch that spans the river, along with narrower outer round-headed arches. The main river arch is supported by three parallel segmental trusses, which include cross braces and vertical spandrel columns, all resting on shallow piers with common bases. The outer arches display similar architectural details. The original parapet has been replaced with modern galvanized railings. The abutments are made of rock-faced sandstone, which is part of an earlier bridge that once stood at this location. Additionally, lamp posts have been added to the tops of the piers.
