Description

Six Gables is a two-storey, two-bay building, likely dating to the 19th century. The front elevation is stuccoed and features gables with decorative, curved bargeboards over the first-floor windows. Rusticated quoins mark the corners. The roof is covered in Welsh slate. A tented verandah, supported by iron trellising, extends across the ground floor, with a doorway and sidelight on the left and a wide triple-sash window on the right. The first floor has two two-light casement windows, each with four rows of two small panes and a dripmould above. Each window is topped by a small gable. The roof is twin-gabled with decorative finials and two chimney stacks with weathered tops on the rear wall. The side elevations are plain, and the rear elevation is not visible. The interior was not inspected during a resurvey in November 2001.
