Description

The base of a medieval cross, restored in 1922 as a war memorial, is located in the churchyard of the Church of St Cadoc. The memorial features three restored steps, with a fourth step added, and a plain cross made of grey Forest of Dean stone. The design was created by John Payne, a sculptor from Barry, and the restoration was supervised by architect Alfred Vivien.
