Description

This telephone kiosk, located close to the junction with Stanwell Road, is an unusual example featuring both King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II crowns, a combination not noted elsewhere in Wales, suggesting it may date from around 1952. The kiosk has a domed roof with four lunettes that contain embossed crowns above red lettered opals and ventilation slits. It features raised surrounds with marginal bars to the horizontal glazing, a blank rear, and a moulded plinth.
