Description
The Rectory is a two-storey building with random rubble elevations, dating from an unspecified period. It features a double pile slated roof with overhanging eaves that are supported by small decorative cast-iron brackets. There is a two-storey rear extension and a single-storey scullery range to the north. The design shows ecclesiastical influence, evident in the pointed voussoired arches above the windows and door openings. On the west side, there is a slated lean-to porch supported by elongated timber brackets. The building has sash windows with horns on all elevations, featuring either twelve or nine panes. The garden elevation on the east side includes a single-storey bay at the west end, topped with a conical slated roof and three 2-pane pointed sash windows. The north elevation faces a cobbled courtyard that contains a surviving well. The two-storey rear extension at the east end has a gabled chimney and encloses the courtyard, which leads to the single-storey scullery that has a slated roof and three small casement windows on the north elevation. The building was not available for inspection at the time of the survey.
