Description

Quarella Road Underbridge is a railway bridge featuring a single span and a skewed masonry design, complete with projecting wingwalls. It is constructed from coursed and squared rock-faced sandstone, and the arch is adorned with rusticated voussoirs. The parapet on the downside is intact and consists of three even courses, while the upside has been partially rebuilt. There is some patching of the arch ring with brick. Metal railings are present on both sides, and the wingwalls are plain and sloping, with the eastern side being lower.
