Description
This is a single-carriageway, single-span bridge located at the southern end of Skewen Cutting on the Tennant Canal, partly within the Dyffryn Clydach community. The bridge is constructed of rubble stone and features tooled voussoirs and jambs that form a segmental arch. The abutments, which include an integral parapet, curve outwards. Some 19th-century coping stones remain, made of square blocks or half-round blocks of copper slag. The flat deck, likely intended for a tramroad, is currently covered in grass.
