Description
Ynysmeudwy Uchaf Overbridge is a canal overbridge dating from the 19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a single segmental arch made with tooled cut stone voussoirs. The soffit of the arch is supported by five iron ribs bolted at each end. The parapets consist of large rubble stone slabs on the northwest side, while the rest of the parapets have presumably been removed and repaired with cement. There is a small buttress on the northeast towpath side, which also includes a ramp providing access to the towpath level.
