Description
The Canal Overbridge at Cwm-tawe-isaf is a 19th-century single arch bridge made of rubble stone. It features a segmental arch constructed with tooled cut stone voussoirs, one of which on the eastern side has scratched figures that may date to 1797. The abutments curve outward on each side, leading to square end piers. On the southwest side, there is a later 19th-century flight of 10 steps leading up to the bridge. The parapets and piers are topped with rounded copings made of cement.
