Description

1A Pier Street is a two-storey and attic domestic building featuring three windows, with an advanced gable on the right side. The structure is constructed of red brick and Portland stone, topped with hipped slate roofs that include a finial and an end stack on the right. It has gable parapets, moulded cornices above the first floor, a band course, and keyblocked architraves. The windows are small-pane sash types, with an arched window on the ground floor to the right. This window has an arched hood supported by brackets with head corbels above a keyblocked doorcase on the left, which is flanked by linked side lights and features a six-panel door. To the left, there is a yard entry marked by ball-finial gatepiers and double Art Nouveau ironwork gates.
