Description
This building, also known as Prospect Place, is a three-storey structure with a basement, featuring rendered and painted brick fronts, although the brick is exposed at No 7. It has three plain pilasters and a continuous slate roof with chimneys located only at the center. Notably, there is a pitched dormer and boxed eaves at No 7.
The building has three windows for Nos 2 to 5 and two windows for Nos 6 and 7. There are arched recesses on the first floor, with a wide segmental arch at the center of No 6, which continues down as a two-storey recess with brick voussoirs at No 7. The windows are small-paned sash windows, with some blind recesses, and most have been renewed. No 6 features a modern first-floor window with a bracket above it. The entrances consist of six-panel Georgian doors accessed by steps, with No 6 having an overall fascia to its pilastered shop front, gabled reveals to a nine-panel door on the left, and a shop door to the right. The elevation facing Ferryside is rendered and has three storeys with two windows. There are gabled extensions at the rear of Nos 2 and 3, while the extension at the rear of No 4 extends back to Bath Lane.
