Description
The circular pigsty at Beili Gras, dating from the 18th century or early 19th century, is built from rough rubble stone and features a circular plan. Its construction technique is similar to that of Early Christian beehive huts. The pigsty has squat proportions and a rough domed roof. There is a dressed stone lintel above a low animal entry on the west side, which is adjacent to a boundary wall. Inside, the circular space has a stone corbelled domed vault.
