Description
The fourth arch over the South Wales Railway at Peniel Green is one of four broad stone arches made of rubble stone, featuring cut stone voussoirs that form segmental arches. Each arch is approximately 12 meters wide and between 20 to 25 meters long. The arches are topped with copper slag and have retaining walls on either side to hold back the earth.
