Description

The ice house at Buckland Hall is a deep, long, and narrow stone chamber with a vaulted roof, built into the hillside. It features a small altered opening made of stone and brick, with concrete, which is now barred and covered by vegetation. Loose stones found nearby may have come from the original entrance. The interior of the chamber appears to be intact, but it is a protected bat roost.
