Description
The Smoke House at Buckland Hall is a small two-storey building constructed of stone rubble with stone dressings. It features a Welsh slate roof and a central ventilator. There are windows on each first-floor elevation, while the ground floor has a doorway in the gable end with a barred overlight and two light side windows, which are also barred. An attached lean-to on the right side wall is now roofless.
Inside, the ground floor game larder has a flag floor and a boarded ceiling, and it is fitted with shelves and hooks. There are enclosed wooden stairs leading to the upper floor, which was formerly used as a smoking chamber.
