Description

This is a group of four houses, numbered 21a, 21, 22, and 23, located on The Struet. The houses appear to date to the 17th century, although they have been altered. They are two storeys high and have roughcast walls with a horizontal band at first-floor level and a visible plinth. The roofs are slate, with a hip design over number 21a, which is positioned on the right-hand side. The windows are small-pane sash windows. Numbers 21a and 21 have 12-pane sashes, while numbers 22 and 23 have 16-pane sashes.

The front elevation features one window on the first floor. On the ground floor, there are two windows to the left and a doorway to the right. The doorway on the right has a fanlight above, divided into three panes, and a six-panelled door set above a modern window. A plain, flat-arched doorway with a shallow, rectangular overlight and a six-panelled door is positioned to the right-hand side. Evidence of earlier timber-framing is visible to the rear of the building.
