Description
The Corn Barn is a barn that has been converted into a house. It is constructed of painted rubble stone and features a slate roof that overhangs at the eaves. The roadside elevation includes off-centre double barn doors beneath a raised catslide roof. To the left, there is a small loop window, and to the right, a former door with a cambered brick head has been replaced with glazing. The right end wall has two loop windows above a lean-to cart-shed, which also has a broad cambered-headed cart-entry with a brick arch and double doors. A loft light is present in the left end gable. The rear of the building features an opposed barn entry, now glazed, with a lean-to on the left and a small window on the right. There are also modern skylights. The interior has not been inspected but is said to retain a collar-truss roof.
