Description

The Pearce of Ffrwdgrech tomb and railings is a sarcophagus-type tomb located in the churchyard. It features a carved coat-of-arms at each end, although these are obscured by overgrowth, and reversed torches that flank the inscription panels. The tomb has a ridged top and stands freely on raised stone blocks at each end, which are set on an ashlar stepped plinth. Surrounding the tomb is a large rectangular enclosure with lance-type railings and larger stanchions, all resting on a rusticated stone plinth.
