Description
Penuel Chapel is a small chapel constructed of rubble stone that has been painted white, featuring a slate roof and a stack at the left end. The front of the chapel includes large 12-pane hornless sash windows on either side of the center, with 16-pane windows that have a central pivot at both ends, which light the gallery inside. The entrance is located at the extreme right within an added gabled porch, which is boarded on the inside and has a boarded and ribbed door. The right gable end features a continuous drip stone at the eaves level.
Inside, there is a small vestibule leading to the main interior. A straight staircase leads to a three-sided gallery supported by slender cast iron columns, which has a ribbed and panelled front. The pews also feature similar panelling. The pulpit is situated between the large windows and is likewise panelled, with steps that have turned balusters and a newel. The set fawr has been removed.
