Description
2 Ffrwdgrech Road is part of a two-storey row of cottages, dating from the 19th century, constructed of stone rubble, with some sections painted. The cottages feature slate roofs and red brick chimney stacks. Cottages numbered 1 to 4 each have one outer window bay and an inner doorway. Each of these cottages has a small inward-opening Brecon hopper window at eaves level on the first floor, with camber-headed openings on the ground floor.
Cottages 1 and 2 have been combined into one unit, with one doorway blocked and are not painted. Cottage 1 has a fixed 16-pane window on the left and a blocked doorway on the right. Cottage 2 features a ledged door with a frame on the left and a three-pane wide Brecon hopper window on the right. Cottages 3 and 4 each have a three-pane wide hopper window in the outer bay, with cottage 3 having a ledged door and cottage 4 featuring a modern door. Cottage 5 has a small hopper window above and a larger three-pane wide inward hopper window below, along with a ledged door.
