Description
1 Ffrwdgrech Road is a row of two-storey cottages constructed from stone rubble, with some sections painted. The cottages feature slate roofs and red brick chimney stacks. Numbers 1 to 4 each have one outer window bay and an inner doorway. On the first floor, each cottage has a small Brecon hopper window that opens inward at eaves level, while the ground floor has camber-headed openings.
Numbers 1 and 2 have been combined into one unit, with one doorway blocked, and these are not painted. On the ground floor of No 1, there is a fixed 16-pane window on the left and a blocked doorway on the right. No 2 has a ledged door with a frame on the left and a Brecon hopper window, three panes wide, on the right.
Numbers 3 and 4 each feature a three-pane wide hopper window in the outer bay; No 3 has a ledged door, while No 4 has a modern door. Number 5 has a small hopper window above and a larger inward-opening hopper window, three panes wide, below, along with a ledged door.
